Selain menggunaka fitur bawaan windows, user bisa juga melakukan disk defragmenter dengan menggunakan bantuan software defragment. Salah satunya adalah Ultra defrag, yaitu software gratis untuk melakukan disk defragmenter. Sehingga dengan dilakukannya disk defragmenter secara berkala akan menjaga performa atau kinerja komputer.
